TTHQ™- Chương trình thực tập của GIST sẽ kéo dài trong 4 tháng và các sinh viên sẽ được cung cấp toàn bộ chi phí ăn, ở và vé máy bay một chiều đến Hàn Quốc. Trong quá trình học tập, làm việc tại các lab, sinh viên cũng có thể nhận được sự tài trợ từ các giáo sư, tùy theo công việc mà sinh viên tham gia. Đối tượng chính của chương trình là các sinh viên đang theo học hoặc vừa tốt nghiệp các trường Đại học tại các quốc gia trên thế giới.

Đây là một trong những chương trình mang tính quốc tế cao với các sinh viên đến từ nhiều quốc gia trên thế giới trong đó có Việt Nam. Thông qua chương trình này, các thực tập sinh sẽ có cơ hội được tiếp xúc với môi trường học tập và nghiên cứu khoa học tiên tiến theo chuẩn quốc tế. Hàng năm, có khoảng 1-3 (trong tổng số 20) sinh viên Việt Nam tham gia vào chương trình thực tập sinh của GIST. Chi tiết xin xem trong thông báo dưới đây.

2009 GIST Intern Program (September 1, 2009 – December 22, 2009)

The Center for International Students and Scholars (CISS) at the Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST), Korea, is planning to host an International Intern Program in Science and Technology for 2009.

The primary objective of the International Intern Program is to carry out research and provide training related to science and technology.

CISS has worked to organize an International Intern Program once a year, offering students from various countries the opportunity to participate in a 4 month training course at GIST. This year, we are seeking up to 20 intern students for the upcoming Fall Semester (September 1, 2009 – December 22, 2009).

The International Intern Program is designed to provide knowledge and skills related to science and technology in the areas of Life Science, Mechatronics, Information and Communications, Materials Science, Environmental Science, and Photonics.

Applicants should be graduate students or current students of a university in their home country. If you are interested in participating in this Program, please complete the application form and send it to CISS with the following documents:

• Cover letter: Describe how you obtained information related to this Intern Program; why the internship program will be useful to you in the context of your career goals; and why you are interested in the lab you selected.

• Letter(s) of recommendation by your supervisor(s).
• Certificates of graduation or Certificate of enrollment status (including every degree you've attained).
• Academic transcripts.
